Notice of Public Hearing
In accordance with RCW 36.70.795, the Board of Whitman County Commissions will hold a public hearing in regards to Ordinance 088670, An Ordinance of the County of Whitman, Washington adopting a Moratorium on the Establishment, Location, Operation, Licensing or Maintenance of Commercial Wind Energy Facilities.
The hearing will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 at 5:30 PM in the Public Service Building Auditorium, 310 N Main St, Colfax, WA.
Any persons desiring to express their views on this matter is welcome to attend the hearing to provide testimony. Written testimony will be accepted if received to the Commissioner’s Office, no later than 12:00 pm Monday, February 3, 2025. Testimony can be mailed to Whitman County Commissioners, 400 N Main, Colfax WA or emailed to commissioners@whitmancounty.gov .
