Board Information

Civil Service Commissioners oversee Whitman County’s Civil Service Rules, testing procedures and establishment of eligibility lists for the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office personnel. They serve a 6-year term, with the possibility of extension. The Civil Service Commissioners have regularly scheduled meetings on the 4th Monday of each month. The meetings are open to the public.
